Cookie Policy

We group cookies into three categories:

Strictly necessary: required for the site to function, including sign-in, session security, and load balancing. These cannot be switched off.

Analytics: used to understand how visitors interact with our pages so we can improve them. We use PostHog for product and web analytics.

Advertising: used on our free tier to serve and measure ads. These are only set where permitted and can be turned off at any time.

We use PostHog to measure page views, feature usage, and funnel performance. PostHog may set cookies to distinguish returning visitors and to group events into sessions. These cookies do not read your calendar or scheduling data. You can opt out of analytics cookies at any time through the Cookie Settings link in our footer or through the Do Not Sell or Share page.

Some cookies are set by service providers acting on our behalf. These include PostHog for analytics, Stripe for secure web payment and fraud prevention, and, on the free tier only, our advertising partners. On our mobile apps, purchases are handled by Apple and Google rather than by browser cookies. Each provider processes data under its own privacy terms in addition to ours.

When you first visit RescueShift, our consent banner lets you accept or reject analytics and advertising cookies. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies through their settings, though blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the service from working.

Our web application honors recognized opt-out signals, including the Global Privacy Control (GPC). When we detect a valid GPC signal from your browser, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and disable non-essential cookies for that browser.

We may update this Cookie Policy as our technology and legal obligations evolve. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the application.
